We recommend booking flights 2-3 months before travel. Google Flights is a great site for quick cost/date comparisons. We will be tracking flight prices on Hopper and will be sending out monthly reminders.

You may choose to book your flights separately or ask for help from our travel agent Sue Allen. She is willing to help you find the best flight if needed. If not, you may book your flights whenever. If you choose to book your flights separately, Sue will email you closer to travel, and she will ask for your flight schedule so that she may plan your transportation to and from the hotel as this is included with your booking.

Flying to Punta Cana:

• Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ): It is the closest airport to the resort and venue. It is approximately a 20 minute ride to the Now Larimar Punta Cana resort.

Other airports to consider if you are renting a car or via public bus:

• La Romana International Airport (LRM): This is a small airport with limited flights located 1 hour away from Punta Cana. Jet Blue has nonstop flights to and from New York on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

• Santo Domingo Las Americas International Airport (SDQ) (the Capital): This is the main airport in the DR with tons of affordable flight options. This airport is located almost 3 hours away from Punta Cana.  There is a coach bus ride for $10 from Santo Domingo to Punta Cana. Contact Yessica to learn more about this option.

DREAM ONYX’S COVID PROTOCAL

Dream ONYX is an AMResorts, and AMResorts recently launched CleanComplete Verification™ practices at all of their properties. These new protocols include a 360-degree quality, safety and hygiene system backed by the highest-level third-party certification and will further elevate the standards of quality and cleanliness in all of the resorts. AMResorts’ quality, safety and hygiene standards are verified by the Cristal International Standards, which AMResorts says is “one of the industry’s highest-level certifications, verifying best-of-class processes for quality and safety.”

Testing Protocols: Updates from U.S. Government beginning December 6, 2021

Beginning Monday, December 6, 2021, new U.S. travel requirements will be implemented requiring all international travelers, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, to be tested for the coronavirus within one day of global departure back to the United States. Quarantine at DREAM ONYX:

 For guests traveling to any country with COVID-19 testing regulations in effect to enter the country after international travel, AMR™ Collection has extended the CleanComplete+ program to include quarantine support.

If a guest receives a positive test while on property that prevents departure, the cost of quarantine at the property will be covered for up to 14 days after the original departure date.** Extended stay due to quarantine includes the guest plus one travel companion sharing the same room. For additional traveling companions sharing the same room beyond yourself and one travel companion, the resort is pleased to provide discounted rates below.

Services, like meals, minibar stocking, clean linens, bathroom amenities, etc., will be delivered to the room door.
